16 & 17/1000 - Bob T. & Louis M.

I met Bob T. (L) and Louis M. 14 & 15/1000 - Dan & Lisa D.

Dan & Lisa D.  of Merrick, NY were at Planting Fields Arboretum visiting a bench that was recently installed honoring their son, Eric, who died tragically last year.  Lisa asked me and another photographer if we would take their photo with the bench, which we were more than happy to do.  They are also founding members of the Long Island Fingertyle Guitar Club.

I attended a screening of a film about the experience of a young woman who was institutionalized in a state mental hospital and how it has affected her life.  Lucy W., a NYC resident, was present at the screening and has gone on to become a successful filmmaker.  She also has a dog named Buddy Shapiro.
